About the Down's...

Kind of sad. Make me wet my T-shirt. I watched this video about children with Down’s syndrome. Apparently it's called like that because Down was the first who described it. On his own child. It can be detected during pregnancy. I wonder, in future, when mothers will be able to "modify" their children, how "motherly" would it be to "leave" the Down's syndrome. How much "unmotherly" would it be to do the opposite? To choose a better life for her child. Even if it means, against the nature rules? Or is it against it? We are nature. By nature we have achieved this level of advancement and who are we to question then? Why does that happens anyway? It mostly has to do with elderly women who decide to have a baby. After 40 it goes way up. The probability of Down syndrome I mean. But no. Women make career and they remember to have a family way later. Then they have all the money and popularity they wanted. And a child with Down syndrome. If they get too stressful about this, they risk getting a breast cancer. Or if they use too much deodorant. In fact, I really think women could be pretty good in business and in politics if only they remove some of the women organs. And act like man. They are pretty tuff and stubborn. And also smart and all that. The problem is, they weren't made for it, and it's killing them. Day by day. Silently.
And what's wrong with that? Being a mother and enjoying the relaxed life with children like women have been doing for thousands of years before? What's wrong with enjoying a slow and relaxed life? Why has everything became so fast today? Today. Today. To die.
Maybe that's why I like eastern cultures. They appreciate minimalism. Silence and simplicity. The easy ways of living. The right way.
